TLDR: I have been exploring how to streamline animated content creation using AI tools and made a show title sequence in 4 hours. (video is at the bottom, sound on)I wanted to see how quickly I could generate a title sequence for a fictional TV series, using AI tools. I had randomly entered 'Samurai Chicken' into a text to image generator and was surprised by the quality of the results. SamuChix was born!Using #Midjourney and another AI tool for extracting depth data from images, I was able to create the story images and simulate a little bit of 3D camera movement to animate the shots. I did some quick comping using stock effects footage (snow, smoke, sparks etc.), dropped some stock music underneath, and mocked up a quick title card and 'Samu Chix: The Legend of the Samurai Chickens' was done, all in approximately 4-6 hours solo working time. It's obviously rough, but the fact that it took so little time, with only my limited skillset is pretty cool.I also had #ChatGPT write a synopsis and tagline for the TV series:
In "SamuChix: The Legend of the Samurai Chickens," a group of chickens are raised and trained by real samurai warriors in ancient Japan. From the moment they hatch, the chickens are taught the way of the samurai, including the rites and rituals, as well as how to fight and defend themselves. They grow up to become skilled warriors in their own right, devoted to upholding the code of the samurai and protecting their clan. However, their peaceful existence is threatened by an evil gang of Fox Ninjas led by Kitsune, a sly and cunning fox who was once a member of the samurai clan. The foxes are motivated by a desire for power and revenge, as well as their love of fried chicken. In order to defend their way of life, the SamuChix, led by Takeda-No-Tori, a noble and honorable chicken, must engage in epic battles and clashes with the Fox Ninjas. Through it all, the SamuChix use their training and determination to uphold the honor and traditions of the samurai. Feathers will fly in the epic battle between good and evil!I really enjoy these new tools. Basically everything on this website is a POC (Proof of Concept). Keep in mind that the goal of this project was to determine how fast could I make something of decent quality with the help of my AI minions, of course 😈.
Think of the possibilities if something like this was achievable in 4 hours, how far could it be taken in one week? 🤔
